Samsung is giving more options to consumers as they recently announced the availability of the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini, for all those that thought the Galaxy S III was too big. UK retailer Clove has got the the Galaxy S III Mini price at £249 if you’re buying from Clove, but after VAT, that price is bumped up to £298.80.
The Galaxy S III Mini is not only smaller but it doesn’t have all the fancy specs found on the Galaxy S III. The Galaxy S III is intended to be a mid range phone and as such it comes with a 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. The Galaxy S III Mini features a 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA display compared to the Galaxy S III’s 4.8-inch screen.
The camera has also received a downgrade as it now comes with a 5 MP instead of the 8MP found on the Galaxy S III. The device is also missing support for 4G/LTE. It does however come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, so that’s a consolation given it’s specs.
