Looks like Samsung is releasing yet another mid range phone while we eagerly wait for news on the Samsung Galaxy S3. The Samsung Galaxy S Advance is rumoured to be officially launched during the upcoming Mobile World Congress, the same one which they unveiled the Galaxy S II last year. The phone comes with 1GHz dual-core processor, 768 MB RAM and an internal storage of around 16GB which puts it in between the Nexus S and Galaxy S II. It also comes with a 4.3″ WVGA screen and 5 megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash capable of recording 720p video and 1.3 megapixel front facing camera.
The Galaxy S Advance will be released with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will eventually get an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade. The phone also has a slight curve which we assume is to keep Apple’s lawyers at bay or at least keep the same curved look with Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus.
