One can never get enough from the rumour mill, this time around it’s news on Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Yup, the Galaxy Note is finally getting an upgrade and it sounds pretty impressive too. MK Business News reports that the device will not be coming with a flexible OLED display but instead will feature an unbreakable plane (UBP). The smartphone will also be thinner than then original Galaxy Note and with the help of UBP it can boast a sturdy display that is tougher than the original; could be bigger too.
The phone which was suppose to be released at an earlier date has been pushed to October where it will go head-to-head with the iPhone 5. Talk about rivalry !! Apart from that Samsung also wants to ensure the Galaxy Note 2 gets top of the line hardware such as quad core processor (LTE compatible hopefully), 12MP high resolution camera and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Definitely many firsts for the Galaxy Note 2.
It’d be interesting to see how UBP performs in real life and if it’s really unbreakable. Pretty sure someone will be posting a video of it falling onto a concrete floor as soon as they can get their hands on it. The Galaxy Note at 5.3″ is already pushing it for many in terms of size and rumour has it that Note 2 could be bigger. Hopefully they manage to squeeze in a bigger screen in slimmer and sleeker shell
We’ll just have to wait and see.
