It was bound to happen eventually, a member from AndroidCentral (dmmarck) has managed to get the new Camera and Gallery app from Android 4.2 working on his Galaxy Nexus running Android 4.1.1
There is however an issue with the Photo Sphere function but other than that it’s all good.

Despite Google cancelling their ‘Playground is Open’ event in New York, they still went ahead and announced the availability of Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10.The 8GB Nexus 7 has been removed and is now replaced with the highly anticipated 32GB variant of the NExus 7. Still no news on the availability of a 3G Nexus 7 yet, although it’s already available on their site.
Nexus 4 specs include a 4.7-inch True HD IPS Plus display with 1,280 x 768-pixel resolution, an 8-megapixel camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 8GB or 16GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It costs only USD 299.

The anticipation for the unveiling of Google’s slew of new Android products have been hitting the headlines rather often the past few days. There has already been several leaks of LG Nexus and now it’s Samsung’s turn to enjoy some of the limelight as leaked photos and videos of the upcoming Nexus 10 surfaces.
BriefMobile has posted a brief video showing off the Nexus 10′s over all structure. Looks like we’re seeing the dual-core Samsung Exynos 5250 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 10.1-inch Super AMOLED display at 2,560-by-1,600-pixel resolution, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED, front-facing camera, NFC, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0 capability, as well as Android 4.2 Jelly Bean preloaded.

October seems to be a busy month for most tech companies as everyone tries to launch something just in time for the Christmas holidays. Apple just revealed some awesome new products like the 13-inch MacBook Pro withRetina display, all-new iMacs, “iPad 4” and, of course, the iPad mini at their event yesterday. Motorola RAZR M finds its way to Australians, thanks to Telstra. They’re now accepting pre-orders for the device on their website on the $60 per month plan. The device is suppose to start shipping atthe end of the month, 30th October.
